Hey readers , following are some Easy methods and tricks to check quickly whether the given number is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5 .

Divisiblity Test For 2 :

To Check whether the given number (any) is divisible by 2 or not , we follow following steps :
1. Observe the last digit of the given number .
2. If the last digit of the given number is even then ‘the given number is divisible by 2’.

Example 1 :
Let the given number is 39546 .
As the last digit of the number is 6 i.e, ‘EVEN’ so ‘the number is divisible by 2
Example 2 :
Let the given number is 3657 .
As the last digit of the number is 7 i.e, ‘ODD’ so ‘the number is not divisible by 2

Divisiblity Test For 3 :

To Check whether the given number (any) is completey divisible by 3 or not , we follow following steps :
1. Add all the digits of the given number.
2. Divide the result obtained by 3 .
If the result of the sum of all the digits of the number is divisible by 3 then , ‘ The given number will be divisible by 3’

Example 1 :
Let the given number is 3957 .
1.> 3 + 9 + 5 + 7 = 24
2.> 24/3 = 8 i.e, completely divisible by 3 (remainder = 0)
So  ‘the given number 3957 ‘ is divisible by 3
Example 2 :
Let the given number is 8437 .
1.> 8 + 4 + 3 + 7 = 22
2.> 22/3 = Not completely divisible by 3 , (remainder = 2)
So ‘the given number 8437 ‘ is not divisible by 3

Divisiblity Test For 4 :

To Check whether the given number (any) is completey divisible by 4 or not , follow following steps :
1. Observe the last two digits of the given number .
2. If the last digit number of the given number is divisible by 4 then ‘the given number is divisible by 4’.

Example 1 :
Let the given number is 39548 .
1.> Last two digit number = 48
2.> 48/4 = 12
So ‘the given number 39548 ‘ is divisible by 4
Example 2 :
Let the given number is 1534 .
1.> Last two digit number = 34
2.> 34/4 = Not completely divisible by 4 , (remainder = 2)
So ‘the given number 1534 ‘ is not divisible by 4

Divisiblity Test For 5 :

To Check whether the given number (any) is divisible by 5 or not , follow following steps :
1. Observe the last digit of the given number .
2. If the last digit of the given number is ‘0’ or ‘5’ then ‘the given number is divisible by 5’.

Example 1 :
Let the given number is 39546 .
As the last digit of the number is ‘6’ . so ‘given number 39546 is not divisible by 5
Example 2 :
Let the given number is 3650 .
As the last digit of the number is ‘0’ , so ‘the given number is divisible by 5
Example 3 :
Let the given number is 545 .
As the last digit of the number is ‘5’ , so ‘the given number is divisible by 5
